We believe that dignified job creation is the most effective way to alleviate poverty—but we know that additional help is often needed to bridge the gap for families in vulnerable communities. That’s why we developed the Flourishing World Initiative, which provides direct financial and in-kind donations to programs that support the well-being of women, children, and families in the Noonday community.

Noonday Collection Founder Jessica Honegger held the first Noonday Trunk Show in her living room as an adoption fundraiser to bring her son Jack home from Rwanda. Today, adoption is still in our DNA as a company. We give 10% of Adoption Trunk Show sales to help adopting families bring their children home. Since our founding in 2010, we have donated $810,000 to support 4,200 families. Learn more about how Noonday Collection supports adoption.
We are proud to have expanded our partnership with International Justice Mission (IJM) in 2018 to help bring freedom to people around the world. Whereas Noonday works on the preventative side of justice by empowering people through dignified work, IJM works on the intervention side to serve people who have been victimized. In 2018, we funded an IJM Rescue Operation, bringing freedom to people trapped in slavery.
In June 2018, our community raised $15,750 for social programs in Ethiopia by holding Trunk Shows and joining our Ambassador Community! Noonday’s “Impact Giveback” campaigns, part of the Flourishing World Initiative, raise funds for a specific country, partner, or cause through incentives designed to raise awareness about our collective impact. In Uganda, as in many places around the world, people with special needs are often ostracized by society and do not receive the care they need. Ekisa Ministries’ school in Jinja, Uganda is dedicated to helping children with special needs flourish. The organization also leads outreach programs in other local schools to help create spaces where all children can learn and grow together. Through the Flourishing World Initiative, in 2018 we funded a special education teacher for an entire year in partnership with Ekisa.
